The
Recycled Minds Foundation is a faith based youth-oriented community development
not-for-profit. Created for the purpose of positively transforming the mind-sets
of young people, she seeks to empower and equip youths with necessary skills to
prepare them to reach their best heights ever. The Foundation is currently
(2016) working in 2 countries; Nigeria and Benin Republic. Since her inception
in Nigeria on October 1st, 2011, she has consistently remained true
to her founding principle of being an ambassador of hope bringing proactive and
reactive support to at-risk and abused youths.
Her
positive transformation agenda cuts across young people of all cadre and is
devoid of gender, creed, race, religious, colour or political leanings. The
faith angle to the Foundation plays on the fact that there is a supreme being
(whatever name we may designate Him by) who saw us into existence, and has a
purpose for our being here. It is this purpose that we are poised to help our
young people discover from within themselves; their talents and gifts thus,
living a fulfilled life and by extension, bettering the society; our society,
our world!
This
positive train has its terminals in our secondary schools in the form of the
‘Youthanasia School Club’ and the ‘Youthanasia School Club Exchange Programme’.
While in the everyday community, it has such extensions as the Youthanasia
Everyday Society -YES Forum and the seminars she holds every so often but not less
than once every month.
Together
with her entrepreneurial programmes and many projects, the Recycled Minds
Foundation provides young people, a second chance at living rightly.
