Because
we are convinced that every man has an intrinsic value, we therefore, are
committed to the excavation of this innate value of the man. Where best to
launch this holistic discovery train than amongst our teens who are struggling
with their identity and hence in danger of absorbing too many things the good
and not-so-good alike.
This
is the reason for taking the Youthanasia Club to secondary schools where as a
mentorial association it works (with the blessings of the school authorities on
such days as the school has its extra- curricular activities) in the morals,
ethics, etiquette and general social responsibilities angles, in order to
produce well rounded individuals at the end of the day.
Youthanasia
by the way, stems from its medical homophone ‘Euthanasia’ and, conveys almost
similar meaning. Only this time, Youthanasia aims at voluntarily eradicating
vices while raising virtuous youths.
Plus
we have a FREE hard cover manual
given to institutions upon training of a facilitator (presented by such
institution) and inauguration of the Youthanasia Club in the school.
Youthanasia
organizes a whole lot of fun/community serving events; debates, quizzes,
round-table discussions, talent hunts, walks, races, camps, seminars, movies,
book readings, book donations, leadership trainings, language challenges, etc.
The
Youthanasia School Club Exchange Program (YSCEP) affords student-members and
their facilitators a chance at participating in this country to country camping
experience. Not only does this exchange afford persons from different schools
and countries an opportunity at networking, it also contributes to their
knowledge in the aspects of travel and tourism.
The
opportunities of this exchange are boundless. In a nutshell, youths would grow
up to have a fair knowledge of their sister countries then, stand a better
chance to discuss means of sustainable development in the committee of African
nations and the world at large. On a broader scale, when this sought of exchange
happens, friendships are developed and wars diminished. Back To Top
